You can wear it so many different ways (open and flowing, tucked up with one end pulled through the loop, or half wrapped) and can be worn with a large variety of outfits. It does provide general warmth for cooler indoor settings and outdoor fall weather, and can be layered with other jackets. It also feels and looks very high quality, and seems like it will last a long time.
