I have an Echo dot 4th, can it be used to control shades?

For Motor AM260: Yes, but requires a smart zigbbe hub.

For Motor AM270: No, it only supports direct work with Echo 4th Gen, Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Show 10 3rd Gen

How to connect the AM270 motor to Alexa?

1. Open the Alexa APP and ask Alexa to “discover new devices”. 2. Enter pairing mode, press the motor button with 4x shorts and 1x long until the motor flashes green and jogs once. 3. Motor jogs again, Alexa will then tell you “found a first blind”.

How to connect the AM260 motor to Alexa?

When you successfully connect it to the APP. The APP is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and you can log in to Alexa and Google Assistant on the APP to control it by voice. In addition, you can also set “Tap to Run” to control it via Siri.

Can I create a routine for my shades?

Yes, both Tuya/Smart life APP and Alexa can create routines for your blinds.

I want to order 6 blinds, do I need to buy 6 hubs to connect to the APP?

Not necessary. Up to 30 blinds can be connected to one hub.

I plan to buy 5 roller shades, do I need to order a separate remote for each window?

Not necessary. We offer 1/2/6/16 channel remotes. You can shop for a 6 channel remote if they are all in the same room

My window is 45 inches wide and 68 inches tall, how should I fill in the order size if I choose outside installation?

To completely cover the window, please add 3~6” to the width and height when filling out the order size.

How to clean the shades?

1.Use a feather duster or damp cloth for regular cleaning. 2.Use warm water and a mild soap for spot-cleaning/stain removal . Avoid contact with cleaning products.
