Z-Stick 7 has been designed to allow you to build your own automation gateway exactly as you want it to be. To do that, it is compatible with this range of free and open-source home automation software: Domoticz, Home Assistant, and Z-Wave JS. It is also compatible with commercial available Indigo 7 for MacOS. Z-Stick 7 does not ship with any software by default. If you would like to use other software, please purchase Z-Stick Gen5+ instead.

Along with the standard AES-128 bit encrypted security of standard ZWave, Z-Stick 7 also secures your home using ECDH key exchange to prevent man-in-the-middle hacking along with pro-security grade, UL 1023 compliance.

Compatible with any platform

Z-Stick 7 isn’t only compatible with open-source software, it’s also compatible with open-source hardware. You can use Z-Stick 7 to build your own smart home hub with existing or cheap computer hardware including MacOS, Windows, Raspberry Pi, and Linux based systems.

Z-Stick 7 is SmartStart enabled. When used with SmartStart compatible automation software, that means you can connect new devices to your Z-Wave network in mere seconds – simply and quickly scan a new device’s QR code using your gateway software’s app for immediate connexion to Z-Stick 7.
